We have come back from Expointer, proud and certain that we have fulfilled our duties.
We are proud of the immeasurable efforts from our team, of our friend’s unconditional support, for having consolidated once more the name BUTIÁ and having been a witness of the constant evolution of agribusiness.
We have a feeling of having done all we could by the results we have reached, and they were not few: among them the Great Championship of Male Suffolk, the Great Championship of Male Jersey, the Great Championship of Female jersey – Ronald Bertagnolli Prize, a deep emotion for all of us; and the conquer of the Milking Title, equalizing the state record of 58.100 kg in 24 hours. Butiá Olodum also proved to be a complete horse, coming to the final of the Gold Bridle.
We left our name once more in the contests of Esteio, the genetic quality of our animals, the work we have build along 59 years and sure we are always getting better, and searching new options for the breeds we are working with, in an effort with other breeders.
Breeding animals is an art! It is passion, it is a dream come true, it is the wish to keep growing, improving, renewing, giving our contribution so that others can grow together. It is to know how to win. It is to know how to lose, even in the ox racing, when we saw the hope of winning fading away, it is to convict that this is the way and that we have to keep heading for it. It is a fact, the ones who are breeders know, the mathematics of the victory is learnt day by day, building the future and always learning with the past.
